Daphne's Bread Recipe.

Here is another bread recipe from my friends' Daphne and Carel from Saldanha Bay. It is very similar to my cheat's sourdough recipe but you bake it like a normal loaf in a bread tin and not a dutch oven.

500g Stone Ground Flour
1&1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon yeast
350ml/g cold water

Mix until combined, wrap or put a lid on and let it stand anywhere from 8-18 hours. It rises beautifully and the yeast ferments. This has the same effect on the flour as kneading.

Pour into a greased loaf pan let it rise a little bit and bake at 190 degrees for about 40-45 min. (Ovens vary).
